Setup guide

Download the free Windows test version. No payment is required.

Windows setup

1. Download and run AfterSweep-Setup-0.2.40.exe. Setup installs AfterSweep and creates desktop and Start menu shortcuts. No extracting or moving files is needed.
2. Create your AfterSweep account and sign in.
3. Follow the package instructions to configure a Dropbox developer app and connect your account. The beta currently requires this extra setup.
4. Choose specific folders. Start with a small test folder containing copies of files.
5. Choose keeper projects and keep rules. After Effects must be installed to inspect AE project dependencies.
6. Review proposed deletions before confirming. Direct folder deletion removes the whole selected folder and its contents.

Mac

Coming soon. A full Mac edition needs further development and testing before download.

Before cleaning up

Keep an independent backup. ZIP keepers stay intact; their contents are not inspected. Dropbox recovery depends on your plan and retention limits.
